What ZigChain is
ZigChain is a Cosmos-SDK-based Layer 1 purpose-built for tokenisation and on-chain finance. It pairs the developer experience of the Cosmos stack — fast finality, low fees, IBC-native composability — with primitives designed specifically for issuing, trading and managing tokenised real-world assets and structured products.
The $ZIG token secures the network through delegated proof-of-stake and powers gas, governance and validator economics. For an operator, ZigChain looks like a well-tuned Cosmos chain with a clear vertical focus — the kind of network where a serious validator footprint actually matters to applications launching on top of it.

What's next
ZigChain is one of the more focused Cosmos L1s shipping into 2026, and we expect tokenisation-native chains to be a meaningful slice of where institutional flow lands over the next two years. We'll continue to expand our service footprint on ZigChain as the ecosystem grows — relayer paths, custom RPC arrangements for builders, and ecosystem support work.
