Common questions, short answers.
The things people ask most often — answered in one or two sentences, not a support-ticket essay. If you need more detail, talk to us directly.
How do I delegate to NodeStake?+ Open− Close
Pick the network on our Networks page, click Delegate, and sign the transaction from your wallet. We support every mainstream Cosmos, EVM and Solana wallet.
What is your commission rate?+ Open− Close
Commission varies by network and is always displayed on each chain's page. We publish any rate change at least 30 days in advance.
How long does unbonding take?+ Open− Close
Unbonding is set by each chain's protocol — typically 14–28 days. During unbonding, your stake does not earn rewards.
Have you ever been slashed?+ Open− Close
No. We have been operating validators since 2019 with zero slashing events across 50+ networks.
Where do signing keys live?+ Open− Close
Validator keys live inside HSMs. Signing happens via remote signers (tmkms / horcrux). Keys never touch validator hosts.
What happens during a chain upgrade?+ Open− Close
Upgrades are rehearsed on testnet, scheduled hours in advance, and executed with two-engineer sign-off. We publish runbooks and post-mortems.
Do you offer SLAs?+ Open− Close
Public infrastructure is best-effort. Private tiers and institutional engagements include signed SLAs with liquidated damages.
Are you SOC 2 certified?+ Open− Close
We are currently in a SOC 2 Type II audit. Readiness artefacts are available under NDA for institutional customers.
What does the white-label programme include?+ Open− Close
Validator operations under your brand across 35+ networks, HSM + MPC key custody, co-branded delegation pages, monthly signing reports, and SLA-backed uptime.
Is the public RPC really free?+ Open− Close
Yes — across every chain we validate. No API keys, no rate limits for reasonable use. For production workloads, we recommend the private tier.
How often are snapshots published?+ Open− Close
Pruned snapshots refresh every 12 hours; archive snapshots refresh weekly on Saturdays. Each archive ships with signed sha256 checksums and we publish the signing key publicly so you can verify independently.
Can you run archive nodes for us?+ Open− Close
Yes. Dedicated archive nodes are available as part of our Custom Infrastructure programme.
